Laurel Springs College Application and Recommendation Policy

When to Start

The application process should be started early and completed at least four weeks prior to the application deadline. Recommendations should be planned months in advance, and should be received by the person who needs to write the recommendation six weeks prior to the application deadline. Recommendations are not to be taken lightly; they really can make or break your chances of being accepted to a college. The more information and time someone has to write a recommendation about you the better it will be. Bear in mind that a good recommendation can take up to three hours to write and there are often school reports or information forms that must be completed by the person writing your recommendation.

To start on your college path please download both forms, PDF"College Application and Recommendation Policy" and PDF"Student Information for College Recommendation." Review the application process, fill out the forms, sign, and mail to Laurel Springs, Attention: College Advising Department. You may answer questions on a separate piece of paper, making reference to the question. Once submitted the College Advising Department will review and call to discuss your college options and goals.
