Laurel Springs offers two college counseling programs to high school students. High school students select one of the following College Preparatory Programs in addition to the student's choice of courses and tuition fees.

College Counseling Program
(included with full-time enrollment)

The Laurel Springs college counseling program includes one-on-one coaching sessions and webinars on subjects such as: selecting the right college, college entrance exam preparation, college application assistance, parent resources, and scholarship or financial aid resources. A key component to our college prep process is our grade-level specific college and life seminars. These courses introduce students to the importance of college and life planning, preparation for standardized tests, writing skills, decision-making strategies, time management and academic integrity, delivered in a manner that is appropriate for each grade level. For each year of high school, students will receive 2.5 credits for these required courses. In addition, for high school seniors, the homeroom teacher plays a key role in keeping the student focused and on track for graduation. Homeroom teachers coordinate with the senior’s other teachers, write up to five college recommendation letters and assist in the preparation of college application essays.

Premier College College Program
(Additional $2,000 fee)

With the premier program, students from 9th to 12th grade work closely with a personal mentor who guides them through the entire college preparation and admission process. Weekly one-on-one coaching helps students develop their personal, academic and professional goals as they mature through the high school years. This collaboration ensures that in addition to excellent academic preparation, our students receive the best coaching and mentoring for acceptance to the college of their choice. The premier program Includes:

  • Comprehensive professional coaching, counseling and mentoring through weekly phone meetings
