Mark your calendars for June 22-23, 2012! The Laurel Springs School community will gather in at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ventura, California, to celebrate academic achievements and enjoy the prom.
The National Honor Society induction ceremony is a momentous occasion for new members and their families. As the first online school to be granted an official NHS chapter, Laurel Springs is proud of its students who have achieved this distinction. Our induction ceremony is traditional and includes candle-lighting, special stoles and tassels for graduation, and a party for students, families, teachers and staff. The Laurel Springs graduation ceremony is attended by students from around the world. Wearing caps and gowns, our graduates receive their diplomas along with inspiring testimonials from their teachers. After the formal ceremony, students and families relax with teachers and staff for a celebratory party. Click here to register for this event.
All Laurel Springs high school students (in grades 9 – 12) are invited to attend the prom, which is organized by students, faculty and staff. The DJ keeps the dance floor packed, and students take breaks to enjoy the delicious buffet of food and drinks. One student said that the 2011 prom was “more fun than I’ve ever had in my life.” In addition to being an iconic high school event, the prom is a time for our students to create connections that last for many years. Each year, many students and their families travel locally, nationally, and internationally to be part of this weekend of milestone events. We hope that your family is able to attend. For general information about each event, please refer to our Face-to-Face Events page.
