Our team of highly skilled experts has created a wealth of tools that help teachers ensure they are building the right skills at each stage, in a manner appropriate for each of our student’s individual learning style.
Marilyn Mosley Gordanier, M.Ed.
Founder & Executive Director
Marilyn Mosley Gordanier has more than 35 years of educational experience. Since founding Laurel Springs in 1991, she has led the school to become a premier provider of customized distance learning for grades K–12. Ms. Mosley Gordanier was nominated for a Nobel Earth Prize, and has been a keynote speaker at numerous educational conferences. She serves as president of the United Nations Global 500 Environmental Forum. She believes that within the hearts and minds of children and their families is an endless source of inspiration, caring and learning.
Susan Race, Ed.D.
Chief Academic Officer
Dr. Susan Race has more than 20 years of experience in K–12 education as a teacher, school administrator, and district administrator. Dr. Race’s expertise includes curriculum development, 21st century learning, strategic planning, leadership and organizational dynamics, best practices in teaching and learning, data-informed instruction, and training and professional development. She holds a B.S. in Business and M.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of Delaware, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Widener University.
Paige Morabito, Ed.D.
Director of Education
Dr. Paige Morabito began her career in the field of gifted education and has 10 years of experience in curriculum development and administration for online secondary education. She has a B.A. in English from Stetson University, a M.A. in Gifted Education from the University of South Florida, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
